The gardens they visited will be open this weekend for the public to take in some floral beauty and enjoy some time outdoors. Blue J is the largest Iris nursery in New Mexico.
They were in town for the American Iris Society convention, April 11-16. More than 240 American Iris Society members from across the United States and some from Canada descended on Las Cruces to learn more about their iris craft and tour iris farms and gardens throughout the area including the Blue J Iris nursery in Vado, Calhoun Flower Farm in La Mesa and the Farm & Ranch Heritage Museum garden in Las Cruces.
